Versatile science journalist, writer and editor with experience in a wide range of formats and subject areas.
My clients include research institutions, scientific journals, life sciences companies, and news sites. I can edit scientific manuscripts, write blog posts and annual reports, or turn around a breaking news story on a tight deadline.
Previously, I was a senior editor at Nature Medicine and a manuscript editor for a cell therapy team at Seattle Children’s Research Institute. I also have experience as a journalist, including as a staff reporter for GeekWire, where I remain a contributing editor.
I earned my Ph.D. in a lab at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, where I investigated how an egg becomes a creature.
